Overheating message device not actually overheating
Why does my tablet say its overheating when it feels cool to the touch? Samsung tab A 32gb

If it was repaired or damaged at some point, the temperature sensor may have been damaged. I’m not sure where it’s located on the Galaxy Tab series, but I know on the S and Note series of phones it’s located on the wireless charging coil and if not connected or damaged it won’t let it charge.
