Why is my Samsung s8 plus not functioning with Samsung Dex anymore?

I recently replaced my daughter board after the microphone got water into it and my Samsung Dex would not work anymore with it. After replacing the daughter board the phone works fine with quick charge and the mic works! But Samsung Dex still does not work. I bought Samsung Dex to study and I would use everyday. Has anybody cone across this kind of issue?
