My iPad Air 1 is now ONLY charging if plugged into MacBookPro

I have tried multiple chargers, cables, including Apple-brand. Currently, I have a high quality cable that has a magnetic connection so I’m not moving/removing the lighting portion. It worked for months all right on charger. Now, it ONLY seems to charge if it’s plugged into my old MacBook Pro (And I had to say Yes, I trust this computer).


I’ve ordered a replacement port. Should I be getting other parts?

Are you using one of those magnetic chargers where it connects magnetically at the charge port end?
