Battery component of ThermoScientific Matrix Pippetors

Hi,

I am trying to repair some electric pipettors (see pictures, ThermoScientific Matrix) in my lab and figured that I just need to replace the batteries.

Can you please help by identifying the electronic component attached to battery in the picture and where I can buy it (reference _ shipping to France if possible)?

So you are talking about the component in the photo on the right. You only gave us an edge on look at it. Roll it around so we can see the top of it and any possible numbers on it.
