The LCD screen is stuck in the tilt up position. How do I make it flat

The LCD screen on my Canon Selphy CP910 is stuck in the tilt up position. It will

not lay flat. It is working properly, this is simply mechanical. I need it to flatten to fit in its custom desk cubby. Help! It does not have any give when I attempt to flatten it.
