Apple pay not working

Hi,

Had a xr with badly cracked glass on the back. I got new housing and have replaced it. I used all the original parts from the xr, following guides on ifixit and keeping all screws etc in place . Everything works like it should including wireless charging but apple pay wont work. It comes up to pay but wont talk to the card reader. No error msg comes up , it's just like the card reader ain't there. Have I missed so.ethjng when swapping the housing . Thanks

I would send this to a board specialist like iPad Rehab or STS Telecom. Rossman Repair Group is another good one and all of these companies have youtube channels you can check out, although Louis Rossman streams and uploads MacBook Repair.

Apple pay is awful. I have tried to use it, but I never liked it that much. It feels like Apple forces us to use their stuff, but I won't use Apple pay anymore. I game a lot, and I have a special gaming payment processing service called MaxPay. I love it because it always works, and it never lets me down. I use that instead of Apple pay...

Apple is cool, and some of their products make sense, but I hate some of their stuff. The good thing is that there are alternatives that we can use. I hope they never stop us from using the things we want because that would be terrible.
