BSOD due to 3DS Camera fix?

I have a New Nintendo 3DS XL and have had it for 3-4 years now. Recently I added custom firmware and bought a new 64gb sd card off Amazon. I was playing Animal Crossing New Leaf, when it suddenly froze and asked me to reboot the system. The same error had happened before, but this time when I powered the consol on, both lights came on (blue for battery and Yellow for WI-FI) but no display! I am able to see that both screens work (System update shortcut, Godmode9, and Luma configuration) and the home menu sometimes plays for a second sometimes and when I power of an exception (only sometimes) comes up with tons of numbers and letters and asks to save the crash dump. I asked around and for a year or two my camera would NEVER work. It always errored and asked me to return to the main menu, and then woild never go there so i had to power off and apparently there is an issue with the camera that fits my issues EXACTLY. I have been told to unplug the camera and try to see what happens, but I have yet to do that and have to get a smaller screwdriver for the screws on the inside. Does anyone else know what can be going on or other ways to try fixing it if unplugging the camera does not work?
