USB C Port Charges only one side

USB C port on my pixel 3 behaving wierd. It charges only one side on any USB C cable. Replaced the USB C internal module with the flex cable. Still the problem persists. So the problem doesnt seem to be on the usb c port.


Examined the flex cable socket for any issues, seems fine.


Any suggestions for next trouble shooting step?

Try another charging cable.

I tried several different chargers, the problems still persists, it's an issue with port. I've cleaned the port and it doesn't seem to help. Could it be water damage

I had the same problem. Replacing the charge port resolved the issue.
