Hurricane fan not running
My wall mounted Hurricane fan (# 736506) stopped running. I unplugged & replaced fuse in plug, but still no response. Voltmeter shows power to motor from base. Inspection of motor & oscillation mechanism reveals no burning or other apparent damage. Is there any additional fuse or circuit breaker? Any ideas would be helpful. Cost too much to just scrap.

How long is the fan in operation?
What I can suggest you to check on the capacitor also, which might be worn out if it has been used for quite some time.
any incident or strange things happened before it fails?
internal motor has a thermal fuse which you need to open up the motor up to check.
