vacuum cleaner works on-off

Situation: 2 years old V6; canister is empty and clean ; the motor filter is clean. the MAX button is OFF. All is OK with the cleaner. BUT:

After a full charge, motor kicks out after 2 minutes of operation- put on charge again for one minute- motor starts again for an other minute- put on charge few more minutes- vacuum cleaner OK for ONE minute; and so forth. Could the life of battery has ended?

Note: on the body, the light is solid blue when in operation and flashing every time the cleaner stops.

The absolute shut off problem pages doesn't address this problem. All the fixes have been gone through and it still shuts off all the time.
