i got the battery for the ipod touch and the 2 screws are impossible to take off. are they loctite screws? I ruined a jewellery screw driver because of those screws I may have to use a screw extractor to take those screws off. Have you come across problems like this?

it's a common problem. unfortunately Apple have used screws in all devices that sometimes refuse to be removed...:-( all you can do is drill out the 2 screws or use your screw extractor and then replace with new screws. good luck
