When I pull start my atv it makes a puffing noise then stops but the puffing noise is very quick can anyone tell me what is wrong let me know if you want a video of it doing the noise I can get you one.

There are could be few reasons. Have you read service manual to find the answer? Here is a good one for your 1994 Polaris 400L
