How can I fix at home with 0money the backlight after water demage?

I spilled water on my laptop and then after i dries it i tried to turn it on.I didn't saw nothing in the screen but when i turned on my phone flashlight and i saw it was turned on.I think there was a problem with the backlight but i am not sure
