Laptop isn't charging or switching on.
When I plug my charger into my laptop the charging light turns blue then red then switches off and I can't switch my laptop on, the charger also is loose in the port

Hi,
Perhaps the battery has been depleted too far to start the laptop because you can’t charge the laptop correctly.
If the charger feels loose in the charge port, there may be a problem with the DC-In jack.
Here’s a link that may be of some help.
The DC-In jack part item shown in the supplier link is no longer available from that supplier, but if you decide to repair it yourself just search for DC Jack Charging Port for Acer Chromebook R11 to find other suppliers that suit you.
