Firestick not pairing with phone(2)

Firestick does not see any bluetooth devices. Trying to make it pair with my Samsung S7 phones. Did unplug it, waited, plugged it in, connected to the remote but till no bluetooth devices detected. What am I missing?

Luis, thanks for your reply. I think you hit the nail on the head. Hadn’t thought of that because I don’t have bluetooth speakers. I will have to figure out something else.

I believe the Bluetooth options is to meant external speakers and remotes not mobile devices. To connect the phone to your fire stick you must use the firetv app. Both devices must be on the same WIFI in order for this work.
