Device stuck in boot loop and won’t charge enough to connect to iTunes

I have an iPad 1st gen that is stuck in a boot loop. It will display the iTuens logo when I perform a hard reset and it’s plugged into the wall socket, but when I try to transfer it over to a laptop, it shuts off and won’t display anything while plugged into a laptop ??‍♂️??‍♂️ Can anyone help please?
