Can a 616-0232 (160GB) battery work in an original 30gb iPod Video?

I recently bought a battery for my original iPod Video 5th gen (30gb) and the seller advertised it as a 30gb battery complete with photos that show 616-0229 (30GB) Video Battery on the label. However, when I received my battery I got one that said 616-0232 (160GB) Classic Battery. Classic is obviously a much later release than the original iPod Video and I want to make sure it will work in my specific iPod before I try to install it or ask for my money back. Seller says it will work, but I’m skeptical because of the difference of models.
