Can I put 2*8gb stick of ram in my 2016 model?
Like the title says, my laptop has 8GB of ram in it but I want to have 16GB. Is the bios capable of doing that?

Some have a max RAM capacity of 8 GB, some 12 GB and some 16 GB. It would really help if you could provide the exact model number and I would be more than happy to provide you with the answer :)

I can see where you have had trouble researching this. You gonna have to take the laptop apart carefully and check if you have RAM slots that you can insert new ram into or if it's soldered to the board :(
If the laptop has slots most things I can find suggest 8GB max. If you have a few spare ram sticks about and it can be upgraded then I would start with 8GB try 12 GB and then 16 GB. It's either gonna boot or no POST for you, either way, that how I would now find out if it could be upgraded. Manuals online are terrible for information on your model of laptop.
