What iMac or mac mini should I buy to replace this?

I have this 2009 Imac, that is on its way out. From what i understand its the video chip. And it is not worth it to repair it. I love this computer and i am looking for something similar that is a bit newer (but still old because i have a low budget). Are there certain models/ years of Imacs i should look for? Some friends have told me i’d be better off with a mac mini. Personally i just love having the computer and screen all in one. I use my computer for email and video streaming, i also started playing Starcraft on it, like i used to when i was a kid. My current imac couldnt handle it very well and would glitch out and freeze sometimes while playing or exiting the game. It would be nice but not crucial to get a mac that could handle starcraft brood wars.
