How to hard reset jbl tuner 2
My jbl tuner hang. I can't power down or up. Pressing button doesn't work.

Ok you need a pc and usb cable to connect your pc to your jbl tuner.
- Connect your jbl tuner to your pc.
- Press and hold [DAB/FM] and [Volume -] buttons simultaneously for >10 seconds, until you see message on display “connect to PC then copy updated File”
- At your PC find your USB Drive and press eject.
- Your jbl tuner 2 will reset and turn on again in 10 seconds.

I tried this procedure on my acer chromebook. All went well until I clicked in the wrong place. Now my jbl tuner dab/fm is frozen," No update file" is on the display. Now it won't power off .

oh great, that worked. I thought I had blown up the JBL Tuner 2 by connecting it to a fast charger, after which I only saw the power indicator but it would not turn on anymore. But this solved it. I used a Mac instead of PC, so that makes no difference. Thanks!!

No way to switch it on. Just pressing both DAB-FM and BT buttons actually solved the problem.

doesn't work. EXIT DFU MODE and than this "normal" text : Connect with PC or MAC than copy update File

Witam mam problem z jbl tuner2 nie mogę przywrócić ustawienia fabrycznych przy pierwszym uruchomieniu przez pomyłkę ustawiłem język wydaje mi się że to Holenderski i nie mogę go zmienić.

If you only see an FM button though, then you actually have a JBL Tuner (v1), which doesn't support DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting). The reset procedure is a little different, once the device is switched on, you have to press Volume Up and Bluetooth button combination and hold it for 10-20 seconds, as described here: https://www.hardreset.info/devices/jbl/j...
Great help, it worked.
though it was challenge to navigate my 77 years old mother over facetime to do this technical stuff on PC. Wrong usb cable, then she pulled out mouse cable by mistake and so on :-)
