Swipe to unlock is frozen I can't answer calls or use my lg stylo 3 pl

Has the phone been dropped or gotten wet at all?

Just wondering if the digitizer (touchscreen) has been damaged somehow.

Try starting the phone in safe mode and see if you can access it OK.

If not try this method and check if it allows you to at least answer calls. Hopefully it is the same for your model.

If safe mode doesn’t work, try a Master reset with hardware keys to find out whether the problem is hardware or software related.

If you decide to try this then be aware that doing this will erase all your data and downloaded apps. It will restore the phone to its factory default condition. Also if the phone has a Google account tied to it, then you will need to know the user ID and password for the account to be able to access the phone after it has been reset. This is due to the FRP Lock being enabled because of the reset.

If it is still no good after the reset then you will have to replace the display to know whether the problem is in the display or the systemboard.
