Why is the red and blue light suddenly on after I plug my computer

When I plug my computer into the charger, after 2 minutes, suddenly the red and blue lights start to come on, after 5 minutes I unplug it, add it to the charger again and the red light comes on, then it comes and goes, then the red and blue lights come on.
