Petrol Hedge cutter stopped working after been left in winter time

Hi All,

My petrol hedge cutter used to work well then after I did not use it for few months (winter time) stopped working . Does any one know how to get it work again?

Small engines can suffer from fuel degradation especially when unleaded fuel has ethanol. Carburetors using two stroke fuel pumps may become corroded with ethanol on metal parts, fouling both. This would require disassembling both in a tear down to determine the extent of foul deposits blocking fuel flow. Most engines not run should be drained of fuel and/or a fuel stabilizer added before storage to minimize the corrosive effects of ethanol.
