Why is my JBL Charge 5 not turning off?

The power button is not working. I go to turn it off and it won’t shut off.

try the + button and the play/pause button hold them both for 5 seconds

Leave it on for some time then wait for it to drain out if this doesnt work contact jbl support they might help

I had this problem too. Solved it by unplugging it and letting it run the battery down so it switched itself off. Plugged it back in to charge and everything was back to normal. Possible firmware issue I reckon.
