I dropped my XR and it made the bottom of the screen black and it would start pressing numbers on my lock screen so it now says iphone unavailable. I replaced the screen but what I need to know is if I buy a refurbished xr would I be able to swap the boards with the storage chips or if y’all know anyone that might be able to do that? (I tried solutions on the web but they all led me to wipe the phone clean)

the nand (memory ic) is on the logic board, swapping 1 board over from 1 housing to another wont change anything you would be better just using the refurbished phone. you could replace the screen and flash via 3utools but select retain user data
