Mi band 2 charged a whole day but screen not working

hi, bro, I have similar problem like you too, i wasn't use the watch like more than 3 or 4 years since my charger was missing and i bought a new one recently when I charge it the indicator appears from 0 but suddenly goes to full like 5-10 minutes after i left it charged. I can pair the device when it's charging, the watch doesn't work when unplugged from the charger I'm planning to change the battery. It's most likely the battery is dead or frozen after I left it for a long time.
