A device came across my desk with hot glue under the keys. My guess is that the user had attempted to replace the keys that had fallen off. How can I safely remove hot glue without damaging the key switches? I'm using 91% Rubbing Alcohol but I'm having little success.

Hi
This is a hard one but if you are careful,I have had success removing hot glue from delicate things using a soldering iron but you have to be really careful

Depending on how things go I might use this as a last resort. I'm gonna try using a heat gun on the lowest setting. Otherwise I want to see if there are any other methods.
Be very careful though using the hot air gun
Iv accidentally burned Apple Watch screens on their lowest setting with them
The reason why I said the soldering iron is because it’s much more controlled and isolated
