ASUS vivobook 14 not turning on but has switch light on

Laptop is not charging, not turning on but the switch light remains to be on. When i hold the power button, the light disappears but the moment i let go, it goes back. I also tried using my friend's charger since mine could be faulty but it still doesnt charge. What could be the problem and can i fix it by myself? Thank you.
