Replace Printer mother board
My Printer is dead. Only the power light is on. I believe the motherboard is dead. How can I make a replacement?

Is printer making any sound while initializing -when just turned on? Like spinning shafts doing some calibrations or such? Computer when printer is connected, - is it displaying any error code or message popping up on screen of PC? If you connect printer via USB - do you hear any notification from your PC - that it's detecting USB device?

Also I would suggest to remove cover from side where main board is - and check what part number is on sticker of board and google where you can purchase that board other than in China.

думаю, что более вероятно вышел из строй блок питания принтера. блок питания должен выдавать +5 вольт и +24 вольт. в вашем случае может быть только одно напряжение +5 вольт, оно и дает питание на индикатор.
