flash isn’t working for canon g7x mark ii

I have a canon g7x mark ii camera and my flash is not working but the red light pops up but flash won’t come on no matter what mode it’s in I’m not sure if it’s because of the camera settings but I need to know how to fix it

But my Own mk ii is that the flash does not pop out and there is a space between the flash and the original position
