Phone refuses to recognise buttons even when contacted to a computer s

I have a Moto g6play the phone crashed and now refuses to reboot, you can get to the reboot screen but then the phone just scrolls and refuses to do anything else, it has been connected to a computer to do a hard re boot but still refuses to recognise the button
