Does this use the same screen as the 2021 11 inch pro?

Thinking if I should get one, want lcd screen with no PWM, after learning that 2020 iPad Pro uses pwm on their LCD screen, I became concerned about the screen dimming method that the latest iPad uses

Out of curiosity, what is your concern regarding Pulse Width Modulation?

You are probably asking because PWM can give people eye strain and worse, bad headaches. From the research I have done, the screen is pretty much the same except for a few small tweaks, and whatever Apple had to do to allow Apple Pencil Hover.

So, if PWM causes you eye strain and/or headaches, it may not be the best bet for you, however, at this point don't all Apple iPads use PWM to some extent? I get on some devices it is worse, but from my understanding all the newer ones (just a guess but the 2018-2020 - left myself some room for error - models and up would use PWM, no?) Anyway, I hope you can use the M2 iPad Pro as it is an amazing machine and certainly future proof for a long while now. Right now the M2 and the 8GB or 16GB of RAM is overkill, but once iPadOS matures and hopefully becomes better at multitasking, though Stage Manager is amazing and a step in the right direction, the M2 will be able to run the next 6-8 versions of iPadOS without breaking a sweat. I am not a person who wants the full version of macOS installed on an iPad Pro, I have MacBook Pro's & Air's for that. I would not mind being able to boot macOS off an external drive and use it when I really, really need it...maybe even just have a "lite" version of macOS for iPad that we could boot to?

Sorry to get sidetracked, hope I answered your question, and I hope you can enjoy this monster of a machine!
