Where does the two pipes go from the water pump.

My coffee machine is tripping the earth all the time when making coffee and when I opened it, I saw two water pipes leaving the pump, one of them (clear one) is not connected to anywhere and tip is lying loose in the machine. Is this normal ?

See Saeco Minuto Pumpe tauschen, step 16. The pump ist connected top two pipes, one in (the clear one) and one out.

Thank you. I meant the two pipes exiting the pump. One of them seems to be not connected to anywhere. I wonder if it is a pressure valve and the distal end is juts free/loose into the tray.
