Logic board in ALS model
it possible to take the 1.8ghz logic board from this model and use it in the ALS M9848 model? Will it fit?

Since the M9848 is a iBook G4/1.42 14-Inch (Mid-2005 I don't think an iMac board of any sort would fit in it.

Sorry, I meant the 2.0ghz ALS model.
What model? Please give us the last three figres of the serial number.
M9845 20" 2.0 ghz ALS iMac G5
I have two broken machines at the office. One is the 1.8 ghz model with a broken power supply and the other is the 2.0 ghz model with a broken logic board. I'm wondering if I could take the 1.8 ghz logic board and put it in the 2.0 ghz ALS imac.
I see no reason for it not to work.
