When will there be trackpads available?
My left trackpad is stuck and makes a cracking sound when gently pressed. Was hoping to find replacement.

Unfortunately this part doesn’t appear to be available yet probably because of how new the device is
However I do have a solution for the issue you are having
1)you could contact valve and see if you can have it repaired under warranty (if it’s in warranty of course)
Or
2)you could follow the guides likened below
Steam Deck Left Touchpad Replacement
Steam Deck Right Touchpad Replacement
And try carefully cleaning any debris away using isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush ,doing this will hopefully clear away what’s causing your issue

Greetings. I'm in need for an OLED Right touchpad.
I did a shell replacement, including the surface plastics. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I scraped a tiny resistor from the back of the pad board as I see 2 shiny spots next to 2 other components. In any case, aside of all ribbons and cables being correctly set, the touchpad is dead and I need a new one.
Any info on availability?

I had this problem from a single drop of soda that managed to fall in the crack between the touchpad and case.
I took out the touchpad and but was unsuccessful in getting the touchpad itself apart. There's 4 tiny retention clips holding it together that were giving me trouble.
I instead submerged it partially in isopropyl alcohol, let it fill, drained it, repeat. After a few times I dried it off, used compressed air to blow out any remaining internal moisture, then reinstalled.
Worked like new.

My right tackpad is damage and I absolutely need a replacement for it. When will they be available? They were announced back in September 2022 and it is now may 2023
