Keeps saying a error has occurred when trying to update minecraft

its said corrupted data was found a few times, and now it keeps saying a error has occurred 6-7 times now.

I tried to delete it, and when i redownloaded, and it said software is not on the console and i need to insert the sd card i downloaded it on, even though i downloaded without a sd card originally?

btw i have a 4 gb micro sd card just in case i do need to put one in

any ideas??
