I don't see anyone documenting about this error on here and I really think it should be.
I cannot do it though, as I can't take photos. Can someone else do it?

(found this on the Nintendo website, so I'm assuming you have a NFC touchpoint problem) have you tried to restart the device? you have hold the home button for 4 seconds.
if that doesnt work, i think you might have a broken nfc touchpoint
