My power supply went out on my ps5 the shop I went too told me the model of my power supply isn’t out yet witch is adp-400fr on the power supply can I use any model like adp-400Dr or is he right ?

I would NOT use any unofficial parts as critical as a power supply. That could irreparably damage your entire system. You'll have to wait it out.
