I can only move foward if I press easy turn and forward handles

I have a two-stage snowblower and it can only move forward if I press the forward handle simultaneously with the easy turn handle right underneath it. Once I stop pressing both of them, I hear a “cling” sound like a spring and the machine stops as should. When I only press the forward handle it doesn’t move. The snowblower was working fine until I played a little with the speed, but soon after this has happened

Actually I’de like to edit it by saying that it’s only working fine to go forward if I press the easy turn for both wheels. If I release the gas handle then the easy turn one, there’s no cling sound and runs more smoothly.

Still I’de like to understand why the gas handle doesn’t work on itself
