Brt Jensen by this "can't read USB or computer" do you mean it doesn't get recognized. That would be an issue with your charging port. Check for bend or corroded pins. If nothing else, you may have to replace it. It is soldered to the board so a total dismantle would be in order. Something like this should work for yours as well.
