3DS Top screen error? Need to know what it is.

I've been trying to look around online and figure out what's wrong with my 3DS XL, but nothing really feels... right? Something with the top screen and a weird lighting issue. It's not brighter than the bottom screen, I think the colors are just screwed up? (black screens occasionally turn green, stuff like that.) I can't tell what's wrong with it, and I sorta need to know that in order to fix it. Like, what part I'd need to repair/replace or if it's salvageable in the first place.

Take a look at the board/connectors. Unless there's obvious damage, my guess would be a faulty connection in your upper lcd's connector or cable.

There's not really any obvious or critical external damage, it just started doing that one day.

If your guess is right, is there a way to fix it? If so, what part(s) would I need? Not super experienced with this.

@jscriggins If it's the cable, you should be fine just replacing the lcd. But if you have a bad connector, you'd probably be better off taking it to a repair shop unless you have experience with board level repairs
