My MacBook will turn on and show battery percentage but wont turn on. When i disconnect battery and battery daughterboard cable it boots (in no battery mode).
Is there some key combo i need to press to boot if auto boot was turned off?
Just weird to me that the fans start, the battery percentage is shown but it will not boot up. But everything works fine with battery disconnected

Turns out my TouchID sensor wasn’t connected.
I think while connecting the connector on top of it I bumped it off and didn’t notice.

What do you mean “shows battery percentage”? Is it on the MagSafe connector, or the screen? Also, you should check to make sure that the CPU still works. Does the MBP still play the boot sound?
