How to format a W10 os Hdd on different PC?
What I did was I took the drive out of the broken PC and tried to format it on a different one but it won't work. Is it because of some security thing?

if you are using windows 10 at the bottom of the screen type diskpart into the search bar. open diskpart and type list disk and press enter. see which number the hdd you want to format is like disk 0 or disk 1. when you find the disk you want to format. type in select disk ( add number ) and press enter. then type clean and enter. after this go to disk management and format the disk
