i am thinkin of buying a new touch id cut it and solder the button to my old flat will this work?

The sensor is the top black plate, the power button is the blister switch below. Sadly, without the original sensor your system wonโ€™t work properly. This will require a new logic board and the mated sensor.

@gjvjojvnsj4nn12 - Apple designed the part so it canโ€™t be altered as that effects the security of the TouchID and the invalidates the T2 encryption so the system is the workable.
