Scratched pcb coating effects.

I have desolderd both joysticks and placed 2 new ones on the pcb. For the desolder of joints i used a desoldering wick. Sometimes i wiggled the wick a bit to get all the solder on de wick. Because of that i made some scratching on the board, removing the black coating. When i 1st tested the controller my character was spinning out of control. So i replaced both joysticks again. When testing it again it seemed my d pad reacts instantly when i press it ones and the x button doesnt react. Does the scratching influence circuits? Can i repair this?
