Tripping the dedicated circuit breaker

Ge profile microwave model # PVM9005SJ3SS. Cooks just fine, my problem is when it is timing down. If cooking is cancelled before it times out, either by pressing cancel or by opening the door it trips the dedicated 15 amp breaker. For instance, if I’m warming soup and it has 20 seconds to go, but it starts to boil over, so I open the door to stop heating the soup, and the circuit breaker trips. Any ideas? Thank you!
