My stand was a tad stubborn when it came time for closing. I was able to do it but now the screen rises and won’t stay still.
I worry I may have been to forceful with a spider that I used before the card.

Put the display back on to get the correct weight and see if the problem disappears, you do not have to stick it down to test this.

Could you just leave that spudger or something else, like a pencil in there all the time?
