Almost certain my 43 inch Vizio backlights out. I do have an old RCA 40 inch and another 38 inch TV and was wondering if I can salvage backlights from another tv to use on my Vizio? I started opening one of my older tv's but may need explosive to open it, so figured I'd ask before trying. Thanks for any help

@gino53288 you will need one specific to your TV's panel. It commonly works if you do an online search for your TV by model and add backlight strips to the search term. Even if you could modify the strips from your old TV's, based on their size, the strips would be to small and cause your picture to be partially black and streaky.
