A 3D printer manufactured by Flashforge.

Nozzle disconnected itself from heater/extruder during print

I replaced the 0.4mm nozzle with a 0.6mm nozzle. It printed fine for 1/2 the print and then apparently disconnected itself from the print head/extruder. It no longer seats electrically and I can't re-seat it due to the resistance from the filament. So...I can't remove it because it won't heat up due to not having any electric contact.

My topic on reddit might be use full? It happened to #metoo

EDIT; THE PART HAS BEEN FOUND: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:486580... Thanks to: https://www.thingiverse.com/jnkw279

Hi everyone,

Recently, my Adventurer 3 almost exploded during a print job. After some investigation, I discovered that a small plastic part from the extruder (as shown in the attached picture) had snapped.

I contacted Flashforge support, but unfortunately their response wasn’t very clear — either due to language issues or a misunderstanding. They sent me a link to a replacement part, but it turned out to be the wrong one.

So now I’m turning to the community: Has anyone else experienced this issue with this particular part? If so, how did you resolve it? • Did you manage to find a correct replacement part from Flashforge or another vendor? • Did you perhaps model it yourself in CAD and print it? • Would anyone happen to have an STL or other 3D model file for this part?

I’m even considering redesigning the part and having it CNC machined from metal or a more durable material than plastic.

To be clear: my printer has only been used for a total of less than 3 months (just under 600 hours), and it already failed — which is disappointing for such light use.

Any help, tips, or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Also Not Looking for a paid service, also i have friends with printer and as you can see i did a quick and dirty temp fix using super glue. so i can try to print it tomorrow myself just not into reinventing the wheel ;-).
