Left trigger saying fully pressed when not touched

Hi all, I recently got a cheap elite 2 controller to fix off eBay. Got the new pots on and everything works apart from the left trigger. When testing it, the software says the left trigger is constantly pushed to 100% I’m at a bit of a loss. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Update: I found whoever was last in the controller had either knocked off or stolen the Hall effect sensor for LT (does anyone know what the name of that sensor is?
